Tommy serves as a Consulting Actuary for a broad range of clients from private sector employers to public entities.

Tommy has spent the last 19 years working as a consulting actuary managing client relationships, project teams and actuarial students. He has spent much of his career focusing on health and welfare benefit plans - for both actives and retirees - helping clients develop appropriate short-term strategies to meet their objectives. He also has spent an extensive amount of time working with clients more broadly on their total EVP including, but not limited to, compensation alignment, executive benefits, and retirement plans.

Tommy supports many large, self-insured clients in the evaluation of their P&C reserves and loss projections. He has extensive experience supporting clients with basic reserve setting and also supports many unique client situations that include consideration for reserve and loss allocations across business units and/or operating companies and the evaluation of setting self-insured retention levels to adequately mitigate risk while effectively managing overall program cost.

He also works closely with many hospital systems and physician groups in the development and deployment of Accountable Care Organizations, Clinically Integrated Networks and Shared Savings contracts across commercial, Medicare and Medicaid programs. Over the past five years, Tommy has provided financial management and oversight for over 15 shared savings programs.

Tommy is a Fellow of thee Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary.
